DIY: Prepare Your Hair for Winter with Avocado Hair Masks

  • hair masks

Winter is coming! This is not just a famous Game Of Thrones phrase – it’s the truth!

There are many upsides of Winter – the beautiful change in nature, lit fireplaces and hot chocolate with marshmallows, YUM! But along with all this come some downsides… During the Winter months, cold weather and dry indoor heat can be very harsh on your hair. The hair becomes frizzy, it becomes static and it can easily break.. But have no fear! In this blogpost you will find two of my favorite DIY hair masks with avocado that will help you prepare your hair for Winter.

But why avocado? You may ask. Avocados contain lots of vitamins, fat, protein and natural oils that can coat and soften the hair, and protect it from the cold weather. The oil of the avocado forms a protective barrier that keeps the hair hydrated, soft and flexible.
